Ashley Tisdale Frolicks In The Sand With Zac Efron

Ashley Tisdale celebrated her 26th birthday on the beach with her long-time friend Zac Efron this weekend. Tisdale was spotted being piggybacked by the High School Music star as they marked the milestone in Malibu, California, on Saturday (9th June 2011), reports People Magazine.

The actress and singer, who donned a striped Mara Hoffman bikini, was spotted frolicking in the waves with Efron. She later tweeted, “So happy zacary made it to my party! He’s my brother/best friend!” After showing off their beach bodies, the pair continued the celebrations at a nearby friend’s home. The duo were reportedly joined by Heather Hemmens, Matt Barr, Robbie Jones and Carlos Pena for the birthday festivities, and Ashley is rumoured to be throwing another bash in Las Vegas later this month. Tisdale was previously in a relationship with the dancer Jared Murillo but the couple parted ways in March 2009. She is reportedly still dating the music video director Scott Speer, who helmed her clips for ‘He Said She Said’, ‘Suddenly’, ‘Not Like That’, Hook Me Up’ and most recently ‘Crank It Up. He has also directed videos for Jason Derulo, Jordin Sparks, Big Boi and Paris Hilton.

In 2009, Ashley Tisdale was cast in her first major television role in The CW’s ‘Hellcats’. The actress played the religious cheerleader ‘Savannah Monroe’.
